The Haig-Brown Heritage House is located on the banks of the Campbell River, just minutes away from the city of Campbell River and its many amenities and attractions. The house, built in 1923, is where well known author, conservationist and fly fisherman Roderick Haig-Brown raised his family with his wife Ann and wrote his world renowned books.
The house interior and furnishings have remained the same since the Haig-Brown family lived there and reflect the family's character and modest lifestyle. There are three comfortable yet basic bedrooms accommodating up to seven guests and two shared bathrooms that are all on the upper level of the house. Hear the murmur of the river that can be heard from every room. The grounds surrounding the house are lovely and peaceful with pretty gardens, and are skirted by forest.
The Bed & Breakfast operates from May through October and will suit those looking for a tranquil place to stay.
