Haig-Brown Heritage House

Heritage site on the banks of the Campbell River, Vancouver Island BC Canada.

Haig-Brown House, a 1923 farmhouse surrounded by peaceful gardens and woods, is where fly fisherman, author, conservationist Roderick Haig-Brown lived with his family and wrote his world renowned books. In this unique bed and breakfast establishment, the Haig-Brown House interior and furnishings reflect the character and modest lifestyle of the Haig-Brown family.

Located on the south bank of a proclaimed BC heritage river, the house is minutes away from the amenities of the city of Campbell River. The B&B operates from May through October and offers three comfortable bedrooms accommodating up to seven guests. All the rooms are upstairs.

The murmur of the river can be heard from the rooms and they overlook the pleasant grounds.
