Boundary Ranch

Adventures abound at Boundary Ranch; enjoy everything from a barbecue lunch or dinner to overnight trips in cozy back-country camps. Let us create an exciting package that can range from an hour to a full day. Combine horseback riding with white-water rafting.

Arrive at Boundary Ranch mid-morning to experience this full day adventure, including; two hour guided ride on the scenic back country trails, followed by a delicious Barbecue Steak. Lunch is served outside on the deck or in front of one of the many fireplaces!

After lunch transfer to the Kananaskis River to enjoy a White-Water Experience. Everyone joins in the fun and excitement as they paddle their way through the rapids and chutes of the Kananaskis River! All necessary river equipment and safety gear is supplied along with professional guides. A fun filled exciting way to enjoy a day in the Canadian Rockies!

If you wish to experience the wonder of Kananaskis Country further, travel into a remote area of the high country, virtually unused by others. Trails meander up the canyon, arriving at the camp located in a high alpine meadow just below the tree line (7000 feet). Accommodation is supplied in comfortable wall tents with camp cots. All gear and food supplies are packed in with horses. The trips are run in the same traditional manner that was started in the 1930’s, by the owner’s father, Alvin Guinn.

All trails travel the backcountry surrounding the Ranch and provide some great scenic shots as well as the opportunity of spotting deer, moose and elk!
