Situated on a hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the perfect vantage point for whale and iceberg watching. We are located only 5 miles from the L'Anse aux Meadows UNESCO World Heritage Viking Site is an established B&B that offers travelers welcoming accommodations and the Viking experience.

Our guestrooms are comfortably decorated in pine Scandinavian furniture with locally made quilts on each bed, fine art on the walls and hardwood floors. All our guest rooms have private baths.
Rooms with ocean view, queen size feather beds, sauna, Jacuzzi, satellite television, balcony and occasional view of the aurora borealis.

Our sitting room, which is displayed with fine paintings and antiques, offers you a great library of Newfoundland and Viking books and videos for your entertainment.
There is also a fireplace that you can sit and read by on a raining day. One of the video's that is in the library is the Arts and Entertainment "The Vikings in North America" which was actually filmed from the Lodge.

Also nearby; bike rentals, Dark Tickle Jam Factory, Grenfell Historic Museum, Burnt Cape ecological reserve and adventure tourism (kayaking, boat tours, canoeing, hiking, boat tours, wildflower and bird tours).

Walking trails on property: one walking trail leads you to the top of a berry picking hill where there is a wonderful view of the whole area and the other leads you to the waterfront.
