Activities such as mining, forestry, agriculture and hunting are prohibited. Year round recreational activities include wildlife viewing, birding, hiking, guided tours, wilderness camping, skiing and canoeing allowing visitors to enjoy Canada's nature to its fullest.

Dinosaur Provincial Park Dinosaur Valley

Kootenay National Park of Canada

Nahanni National Park Reserve of Canada
A UNESCO's World Heritage situated within the Mackenzie Mountains Natural Region. The park encompasses the South Nahanni River, sulphur hot springs, alpine tundra, mountains and forests of spruce and aspen, are home to many species of birds fish and mammals.

Tuktut Nogait National Park of Canada
Located 170 kilometres north of the arctic circle with rolling tundra, northern rivers, and unique Artic wildlife and vegetation. Home to the Bluenose West caribou herd, wolves, grizzly bears, muskoxen, arctic char, and a large variety of birds.

Quttinirpaaq National Park of Canada

Sirmilik National Park of Canada
Situated in the Northern Eastern Arctic Lowlands Natural Region and portions of the Lancaster Sound Marine Region. The park will comprise Bylot Island, Oliver Sound and Borden Peninsula.

Bruce Peninsula National Park of Canada
Situated in the heart of a World Biosphere Reserve on the waters of Georgian Bay. The massive, rugged cliffs of the park are inhabited by thousand year old cedar trees, rare alvars to dense forests and sparking lakes.
